Privacy controls
Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used on the CHAMP Solutions website and the choices available to visitors.
Effective date: 26 August 2026
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar technologies also keep limited data on a device. They can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure usage, and help protect services.
2. Technologies currently used
- Cookie consent preference: local storage records whether you selected essential-only or allowed optional analytics, so the notice does not reappear on every page.
- Theme preference: local storage remembers the selected light or dark display theme.
- Questionnaire draft: local storage saves an in-progress Data Center questionnaire, including any signature image, on the user’s device. The draft is not sent to CHAMP until the user chooses Submit.
- Essential security and delivery data: hosting and security infrastructure may process short-lived technical identifiers, IP addresses, headers, and logs necessary to deliver and protect the website.
3. Optional analytics and similar technologies
Optional analytics must not be activated until any consent required by law has been obtained. If CHAMP enables analytics in the future, the consent control and this policy should be updated to identify the provider, purpose, data, duration, and withdrawal method before deployment.
Selecting “Allow optional analytics” records permission; it does not itself install a named analytics service where none is configured.
4. Legal basis and consent
Technologies strictly necessary to provide a requested website function, remember a privacy choice, prevent abuse, or maintain security may operate without optional consent where law permits. Analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking should operate only on an appropriate lawful basis, including consent where required.
5. Managing your choices
You can select essential-only in the cookie notice and can clear site data through browser settings. Clearing storage removes saved theme, consent, and questionnaire-draft preferences. Browser controls can also block storage, although some features may no longer work as intended.
To change a recorded choice, clear the site’s cookies and local storage and revisit the website. CHAMP should provide a persistent preference control before enabling any non-essential tracker that requires ongoing consent management.
6. Retention
Preference and draft values remain until cleared by the user, browser, or application logic. Server security logs are retained according to operational, security, legal, and contractual needs and are not used for unrelated advertising.
7. Updates and contact
We will update this policy when technologies or providers materially change. For questions, email info@champsolutionz.com or read the Privacy Notice.
